FAQ

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Q. WHY AREN’T THERE PRICES ON YOUR WEBSITE?

    A. We don’t include prices on the designs shown on our website because of the numerous factors that determine the price of a memorial.

  • Q. WHAT DETERMINES THE PRICE OF A MEMORIAL?

    A. Memorial prices are based on the size of stone used, granite color, finish, design elements and cemetery regulations.

  • Q. WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?

    A. The price you receive from CMC includes lettering, carving, cemetery fee’s (if any) and installation. The only thing that would add to this price if you add vases, picture, etc. There are no “hidden fee’s” that will be added later.

  • Q. HOW LONG SHOULD I WAIT BEFORE BUYING A MEMORIAL?

    A. There is no set time but Memorials are usually selected soon after the burial. We understand that this can be a difficult time to make any decisions and our experienced staff will work with you at your convenience.

  • Q. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR MY MEMORIAL TO BE INSTALLED?

    A. Normal production time is 4-8 weeks from the date the memorial design is approved until the memorial is installed. However, depending on granite used, some orders may require 4-6 months. Be assured that once the layout is approved we will start production of the order as quickly as possible.

    A. No cemetery can stipulate that you have to buy your bronze marker from them.

  • Q. HOW DO WE GET THE DATE OF DEATH INSCRIPTION ADDED TO OUR MEMORIAL AT THE TIME OF DEATH?

    A. CMC being a full service memorialist, will inscribe the Date Of Death at the cemetery. The cost of this service is not included in the purchase price of the memorial because there is no guarantee that we will be in operation when this service is needed. This date will not be added until a family member or funeral home contacts us.
